We are very happy to introduce our Kanvas Karma program to the community. This is an effort to give back to the community the best way we know how; with art! Our program partners with several charities in the Concho Valley by scheduling benefit art shows and paint and sip events that give a percentage of proceeds to the partnering charity. Look for our Kanvas Karma logo on promotional material.

Charities interested in partnering with the gallery through the Kanvas Karma program need only contact us through email. Keep in mind our schedule is very busy so we will make every effort to make partnerships work around our calendar.

Check out some of the highlights from our past partnerships!

In June of 2014 we partnered with the Heart Gallery of Northwest Texas. The Heart Gallery is a non-profit charity that promotes adoption awareness for children currently in the Texas foster care system. They essentially try and match foster care children with families. In this project we were made aware of a group of five siblings that were in the system but four were separated from their oldest sibling. We organized a day for them to come to the gallery and paint with us. A day for them to reunite with their oldest sibling and have fun. We were able to generate some media coverage and get the story published in the local newspaper.

Months later we learned through the tireless efforts of the Heart Gallery and our published event the sibling were all adopted together to a wonderful family. In addition we donated a custom portrait of the siblings to the new family : ).

In Oct ot 2015 we partnered with Springhill Marriott Suites to help their Save Art Iniative. This national campaign's mission is to help generate much needed funds to donate to local art programs in public schools through art activities. What better project to jump on board with than Save Art! So we got to work and organized a full day of painting. In the morning a parent/child painting session was held and in the evening a Ladies Night Out paint and sip session was also held. In all we were able to raise $750 to give directly to the art program for SAISD.

Next year we are continueing this partnership with Marriott to help Save Art!

In Oct of 2015 we partnered with Concho Valley PAWS to organize a benefit. adoption, and awareness event. This took several months of planning and promotion. We also organized a benefit art show that will last 30 days and partial proceeds are donated by each artist to PAWS. In addition our paint and sip session nearly sold out the day of the event which will also benefit PAWS. The best news of all was that during the adoption event 20 dogs were saved!

We were so touched by the event and the lives that were saved with this event. We can't wait to work with them again in the future!
